The Basics

Symbols & Rarity

Each reel contains the same set of symbols, but not in equal proportion. Rarer symbols appear on fewer stops per reel, making them harder to land but more rewarding when they do.

• Dragon (Wild) — The rarest symbol. Appears on very few reel stops. Substitutes for any other symbol to complete a winning combination. Three Dragons trigger the Jackpot.
• Crown — Rare. The highest-paying non-wild symbol.
• Gem — Uncommon. A mid-high payout symbol.
• Potion — Uncommon. Alchemical brew.
• Crystal — Moderate. Appears more frequently than the symbols above.
• Sword — Moderate. A common mid-tier payout.
• Shield — Common. One of the more frequent landing symbols.
• Scroll — Most common. The lowest-paying symbol but the easiest to match.

Notice the 3-coin Dragon Jackpot pays 250 coins — more than proportionally higher than the 1-coin (50) or 2-coin (100) jackpots. This disproportionate bonus at max wager is the main reason experienced players always bet 3.

How the Wild Works

The Dragon symbol is wild, meaning it can substitute for any other symbol to complete a three-of-a-kind match. Here is how it works in practice:

• Two Crowns + one Dragon = pays as three Crowns (30 / 60 / 150).
• One Gem + two Dragons = pays as three Gems (20 / 40 / 100).
• Three Dragons = the Dragon Jackpot (50 / 100 / 250), the highest possible payout.
• One Dragon + two different non-matching symbols = no win. The wild completes existing matches; it does not create them from mismatched symbols.

Dragon Jackpot

Land three Dragon wilds on the payline to hit the Dragon Jackpot. Payouts scale with your wager:

• 1 coin wager — 50 coins
• 2 coin wager — 100 coins
• 3 coin wager — 250 coins

Understanding the Odds

Slot machines are games of pure chance — there is no skill that can change the outcome of a spin. Each reel stops independently, and the symbol distribution determines the probability of any given combination.

The Dragon is the rarest symbol on each reel, which is why the Dragon Jackpot has the highest payout. Common symbols like Scroll and Shield land frequently but pay the least. This is the fundamental tradeoff in slot design: frequency versus reward.

Expected Value

However, the 3-coin wager offers the best return rate because of the disproportionate Dragon Jackpot bonus. If you are going to play, always bet 3 coins per spin. Betting 1 coin at a time costs more per spin in terms of expected return percentage.

Short sessions can go either way — big wins and cold streaks are both normal. The house edge only becomes apparent over hundreds or thousands of spins.

• Always wager 3 coins. The 3-coin Dragon Jackpot pays 250 coins — a 83x multiplier on your wager. At 1 coin, the jackpot only pays 50 (50x). The max wager gives you the best return percentage.
• The Dragon is wild. It substitutes for any symbol, so a Dragon on any reel improves your chances of completing a matching set. Even landing one Dragon turns near-misses into wins.
• Manage your bankroll. Set a target and stick to it. Decide in advance how many coins you are willing to spend per session. If you double your money, consider walking away.
• Accept the variance. Slots are high-variance games. You might lose 20 spins in a row, then win 100 coins on spin 21. Do not chase losses — each spin is independent.
